Producers of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ are currently in talks with R&B songstress Christina Milian to join season 13 of the ABC hit reality show. The first episode is scheduled to premiere on September 19th. DWTS is fast becoming a base for struggling R&B stars determined to make a comeback to music.
Other R&B/pop divas to shake their butts for show include Nicole Scherzinger, Mel B, Brandy, Toni Braxton and Mya. Milian has been in the recording studio since forever recording her new album.
Ever since her Chipmunk faced ex-husband cheated and publicly humiliated her, the project has suffered a major setback. The plan was to release the serially delayed ‘Elope’ on a joint record deal betweenThe Dream’s Radio Killa Records (which was under Jimmy Iovine and the InterscopeUmbrella) and MySpace.
Before the joint deal came into play, the 29-year-old originally recorded a scrapped album on Myspace titled ‘Dream In Color’, which was geared more towards pop audiences. Then she re-recorded new music the moment she started to date Terius Nash.
He went on to produce the bulk of the LP which was geared more towards urban. They split up and four years after recording, this album still can’t come out. I’d say she better snag that DWTSslot while she can. This album is NOT coming out and will continue to accumulate hoardes of dust until she puts herself out there in some way.
Christina Milian has been spotted having lunch with ex-husband The Dream at The Ivy yesterday, despite divorcing last year.
The pair – who have a daughter – have not been seen out together since their split last year. While some may speculate that the couple could be getting back together, the lunch appeared to be a civil meeting as The Dream was spotted carrying his daughter Violet after perhaps having a playdate.
Christina’s marriage to the hip-hop producer ended after just a few months in 2009, when photos emerged of him flirting on holiday with a mystery woman. Christina recently said that she wasn’t ready to date anyone because she is happy being single.
The Dream has two other children with former wife and singer Nivea.

“Jersey Shore” star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi may soon be showing off her best fist-pumping moves on a ballroom dance floor. Insiders tell “Us” magazine the reality TV star is one of the celebrities in talks for the next season of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars.” Fellow reality TV star Rob Kardashian is also being considered for the show. Rob wouldn’t be the first Karadashian to strut their stuff on the dancefloor. His sister Kim also competed on the show back in 2008. Other celebrities reportedly in talks for the upcoming season include boxing icon Mike Tyson and R&B diva Christina Milian. The 13th season of “Dancing With The Stars” will get under way on ABC on September 19th.

The mother-daughter duo started Violet’s birthday celebrations yesterday (February 25) in Los Angeles. The pair were all smiles as they enjoyed the Jayneoni Moore’s Celebrity Baby & Big Kid Pre-Oscar gifting suite.
The 29-year-old R&B singer recently opened up about the cheating scandal that ended her three-month marriage with The-Dream and how she is now relishing her life as a single mom.
No matter what, you can’t change who you are. I know that now. I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work. But ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working.” She went on to address the cheating scandal: “I didn’t know anything. But looking back, my gut was telling me something was off. But I thought I could fix it.”
