First-time mommy-to-be Christian Milian is excited about welcoming her bundle of joy, revealing exclusively to OK! that she and her record producer husband The Dream are expecting a baby girl, but she also admits she’s a little anxious about the whole process. “I am nervous about giving birth to the baby,” Christina reveals to OK!.
“That’s probably the most nerve-wracking part of it all,” she adds. “Every day I wonder, ‘What happens if she comes earlier than expected?’ ”
But with family and friends close by on the big day Christina admits that, “as long as Dream is right next to me, I’ll be fine!”
Christina and her pals had a blast on Saturday for her baby shower, where guests were treated to a decadent day filled with manicures, pedicures, and makeovers provided by Valerie Beverly Hills. Attendees also noshed on delicious Asian inspired goodies from Philippe West Hollywood and bite-sized cupcakes from Famous Cupcakes.

Work is not the first thing on Christina Milian’s mind these days. The mom-to-be is focusing on her marriage to The-Dream and pregnancy, and has put her album on hold until 2010.
“The Elope project is not coming out until next year,” Tricky Stewart told Rap-Up.com of Milian’s fourth studio effort.
The CEO of RedZone Records explained the reason for the delay. “We just got our label deals done, so the reason why some of these projects got delayed had to do with technicalities and things of that nature.” But he assured that it will be worth the wait. “Man, that album is actually really, really good.”
Stewart and The-Dream found a niche for the “Dip It Low” singer, who signed to her husband’s Radio Killa imprint earlier this year. “When we get into projects, we find a creative zone. We definitely found a space for her and put her in a league and a lane of her own,” explained Tricky. “We’re really looking forward to that being the first release off Radio Killa Records.”
A first single has yet to be chosen because the hitmaking duo has been preoccupied with other projects. “I don’t know ’cause Dream picks all the singles for Radio Killa and I pick all the singles for RedZone Records,” he said. “I’m sure we’re going to sit down at some point, but right now, we’re just so into this Mariah album and now we’re doing this Ciara album, so we kinda put our own label thing into next year’s box.”

It took the rumor mill a while to squeeze this one out of Christina Milian, but over the weekend, the popular singer announced that she’s expecting a baby.
“My husband and I are expecting,” she told People magazine.
“We’re about four and a half months along, about 19 weeks.”
Withholding the truth until it can’t possibly be contained any longer is the general theme in Milan’s life these days.
Only a few weeks ago, Milian married in a hush-hush Vegas wedding that ultimately wasn’t as “unplanned” as Milan led some to believe. Despite hinting that a wedding was not imminent, Milian tied the knot with prop singer-songwriter The Dream in a brisk, drive-through ceremony in Sin City.
As far as the baby goes, Milan is ecstatic.
“We’re really excited,” she said.
Congratulations to the parents to be!

Christina Milian has revealed that she wanted to be a cheerleader at school.
The singer-actress, who plays the lead cheerleader in Bring It On: Fight To The Finish, has done more cheers and fancy stunts on-screen than in real life, but admitted she wished it could have been different when she was younger.
“In high school, I wanted to be a cheerleader and I was ready to try out, but I didn’t get to because I decided to build on my acting and music career,” she said.
“What’s funny is that I’ve played a cheerleader now more often in movies than if I had ended up going into full-on cheer camp instead. It would have taken a lifetime of cheer lessons.”
Despite being a seasoned cheerleader on film, Christina said it’s still challenging.
“I’d like to say it is second nature to me, but it can be if it’s picked up again,” she explained.
The 27-year-old added: “It’s definitely a sport and it’s more athletic than expected. You have to be very clean, as far as the routines go, there’s a lot to memorise, and when it comes to working with the other cheerleaders, you definitely all want to be in the same rhythm, and have a good partner that’s going to be a good base for you.”
:: Bring It On: Fight To The Finish is available on DVD and Blu-Ray now.

Singer Christina Milian has surfaced for the first time since her ’shotgun wedding’ – to fly to Rome for a second wedding ceremony with husband The-Dream.
The 27-year-old and The-Dream – real name Terius Nash , 27, recently wed in hasty fashion at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas.
But the couple are now reported to have jetted off to Rome at the weekend for another ceremony which this time will be witnessed by family and friends.
Christina, who is also rumoured to be pregnant with the couple’s first child, and her new husband were seen at Rome Airport.
The diminutive singer clutched a bouquet of flowers, and stopped to kiss her new husband as they stood in the airport.
According to U.S. reports, the R’n'B star married her her music producer boyfriend in a on September 4.
The 27-year-old became engaged to The-Dream two months ago. Last week a source told US magazine: ‘The pregnancy was a surprise, but they were getting married regardless.’
Millian was first pictured kissing the producer on a Hawaiian beach back in March.
Known for hits including AM to PM and Dip It Low, the singer is has recently been talking about having children.
Earlier this summer she said: ‘Of course, I would love to have kids,’ speaking at the premiere of Bring It On: Fight to the Finish in NYC.
‘I think that’s some of the reasons why I do movies like this.’
And her partner seems to share her views on starting a family. The-Dream – who proposed to Milian with a six-carat ring from Ivanka Trump’s jewellery line said: ‘I love kids, and [Christina] loves kids probably more than I do,’ he said in July.
‘She’ll make that time [to have a baby]. In the next couple of years, there’ll be something around.’
When contacted by MailOnline, a spokesman for Milian refused to comment on the pregnancy reports.

A week after she tied the knot, Christina Milian has announced that she’s pregnant.
Christina Milian and The Dream have love and marriage covered, now they just need a baby carriage.
A source close to the couple told Usmagazine.com that Christina is pregnant. And before you start thinking last week’s ceremony was a shotgun wedding, the tipster insists that baby had nothing to do with it.
“The pregnancy was a surprise, but they were getting married regardless,” the insider said.
There’s no word on exactly how far along Christina is, but this will be the couple’s first child together.

DVD review: “Bring It On: Fight to the Finish:
The Movie
Lina (Christina Milian) is a tough chica and captain of the enthusiastic East L.A. cheerleading squad. Big trouble comes her way when her mom marries a rich, white guy and she’s ripped from her home, her friends and her crew only to be transplanted to the wealthy neighborhood of Malibu. It doesn’t take long for her to run afoul of Avery and the Malibu Jaguars, ultra-snobs and last year’s cheer champions. Before you can snap yo’ fingaz and say “no you didn’t,” the static starts and Lina is about to get all up in it.
Lina’s nerdy sister-in-law recruits her and her amigas to help out the high school’s failing and flailing cheer team, and the race is on to see whether the street smart trio can inject a little funk and Latin flava into a bunch of uncoordinated preppies.
The fish out of water story has been done a million times and so has the one about the little guy beating the odds. Anyone familiar with these universal themes, or has seen an episode of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air will recognize what is going on in Bring It On: Fight to the Finish. It’s totally predictable and filled with cliches. Heck, they even rip off Rocky with the old “let’s keep it raw and real by training in a beaten down gym in the hood” routine. Nevertheless, as unoriginal as this movie was, I actually kind of enjoyed it.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not endorsing cheerleading movies at all and I was overcome with a ton of dread as I slid the DVD into the player. It’s just that these types of movies are fairly critic-proof. Bring It On isn’t a series meant to be enjoyed by 38-year-old men. It’s a series for teens and anyone interested in cheerleading. There’s a lot of girl-power and girl-drama on display, which is nothing I can relate to. I try to keep that in mind while checking out these types of flicks and I try to go into them with an open mind.
Bring It On: Fight to the Finish comes with the requisite lessons on race, class stratification, economic status, culture clash and acceptance. Sure, it’s preachy, but any effort to break down stereotypes and bring people together is a good thing. The movie also comes with impeccably choreographed dance sequences and a funky fresh soundtrack full of hip-hop, reggaeton and dance grooves.
So if your teen rents this, don’t roll your eyes in disdain. Bring It On: Fight to the Finish is pretty clean, inoffensive and comes with a fair amount of light moralizing. You might want to diss this flick, but check yo self. You might just find yourself enjoying it.

Bring It On: Fight to the Finish
Rated PG-13
The DVD
Bring It On: Fight to the Finish is presented in 1.78:1 aspect ratio, which nicely fills in a wide-screen display. The 5.1 soundtrack also pumps the movie’s energetic soundtrack. Luckily, anyone serious about their cheerleading will also enjoy the DVD’s bonus features.
In addition to nearly 15 minutes of deleted scenes, there is “Practice Round,” a short look at the cheerleading camp attended by the actors. “Backstage Pass” is a longer (11:30) behind-the-scenes look at the film, featuring interviews by the actors and production team. “On Set With Christina Milian” is a series of video diaries shot by the film’s star. The short vignettes feature her and her co-stars hanging out between scenes. Lastly, there is an episode of “The Chica Project.” I’m not familiar with the show, but it’s hosted by two ladies who head to Texas to take up cheerleading. The tie-in to the movie is obvious.

It looks like The Dream and Christina Milian are officially married. According to TMZ, the couple tied the knot in Las Vegas Friday at a drive-thru wedding chapel. Ironically the couple tied the knot at the ‘Little White Wedding Chapel,’ which is the same place that Britney Spears wed childhood friend Jason Alexander. Milian wore a rented wedding dress and veil for $200 while Dream donned a rented tux for $100. The two exchanged vows at approximately 12:00AM Friday morning.
As they move into their new life together, Dream is moving up the corporate ladder. The North Carolina native recently took the position as executive vice president of Island Records. “I [want to] thank everyone at Island Records/Def Jam for their faith in me and making me Executive Vice President of Island Records,” Dream wrote via his Twitter page. “I look forward to the challenge of rebuilding music for not only Island Records but for Universal Records as a whole. Today I’m humbled and blessed.”
The couple applied for a marriage license last month and had 90-days to tie the knot before the license expired. Milian talked about her upcoming nuptials in an interview where she stated that the twosome was trying to find the time to plan the wedding amidst their busy schedules.
This is the second marriage for Dream, who was divorced R&B singer Nivea in 2007, and the first for Milian.
