Another day, another lawsuit. This is the case in Hollywood, and Christina Milian is next up to sue the pants off of someone. It just so happens that the young mother and pop singer was visiting a Studio City restaurant called “Mexicali” when she realized her meal had come complete with someone’s chewed gum inside of it.
Milian and her newly re-claimed rocking post baby body ordered the Kobe beef salad, that was most likely delicious– before Christina got about halfway through and decided something was a little chewier than it should be. Only to find that the meal was rocking something of its own– ABC gum!
Christina Milian ran to the bathroom and threw up immediately, disgusted by what had happened and worried for her health. Needless to say, Mexicali restaurant comped her meal. But The Dream’s ex is still freaked out about what she experienced, and indeed filed a huge complaint with the L.A. Department of Health.
It’s been made known that the starlet is searching for a lawyer to represent her in this matter, and she hasn’t eaten out at any restaurants since her unfortunate incident.
Christina Milian got a little something extra at an L.A. restaurant last week … after she took a bite of her Kobe beef salad … and allegedly got a mouthful of ABC gum.
Sources close to Christina tell TMZ … she was out to dinner at Mexicali restaurant in Studio City … and halfway through her salad, she felt a weird, chewy substance in her mouth.
Christina spit it out, and looked in horror as she eyed a giant wad of chewed gum. She then made a beeline for the bathroom and threw up.
We’re told the restaurant comped her meal. But Christina is still freaked out about what happened, and filed a complaint with the L.A. Department of Health.
TMZ spoke with a rep for the Dept., who confirmed a complaint was indeed filed.
Christina tells TMZ, she’s lookin’ for a lawyer, but says, “The most important thing to me is to make sure my health is okay. Ever since the incident I have not eaten out.”
A rep for Mexicali restaurant had no comment.
Christina Milian was spotted getting some exercise while out and about in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon (September 12).
The outing comes amid news that Christina has changed her mind about the name of her new album. Originally entitled Elope, the 29-year-old songbird says now that she is “in a new chapter of her life.”
“I’m changing the title,” Miss Milian says. “It will no longer be any of the material for Elope. I’m at a new chapter in my life, so it’s untitled as of yet.”
The singer, who is prepping for her new role in the ABC Family series Maid in Miami, also says that she is excited to be recording again, though she can’t be in the studio as much as she would like.
“It’s happening, it is really happening,” Milian continues. “I’ve been working with [producers] Young Yani, The Interns, this guy named Sham, a lot of really good, local producers here in L.A. A lot of great writers like The Writer‘s camp and stuff, and it’s exciting. I just love the feeling of being creative again.”
“Sometimes you lose that when you haven’t been in the studio for a while, and I will regret not being in the studio like a longer period of time than two times a month. I want to be in the studio all the time, as long as I’m inspired it keeps coming.”

It looks like singer-actress Christina Milian is about to invade your television screens in the new upcoming ABC Family series, ‘Maid In Miami’. According to Deadline, Milian is currently in negotiations for the lead role of the project, which is about a young maid who is also an aspiring singer.
Although Milian is known mostly for her singing career, she originally wanted to be an actress. In fact, Milian is no stranger to acting, with her first lead role being in the 2003 film ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing,’ with then-boyfriend Nick Cannon. The songstress has also had roles in ‘Be Cool,’ ‘Pulse,’ ‘Ghosts of Girlfriends Past,’ and ‘Bring It On: Fight to the Finish.’
Milian also has a strong relationship with the staff over at ABC Family; she has also starred in two holiday original movies for the channel before – ‘Snowglobe’ and ‘Christmas Cupid.’
‘Glee’ executive music producer Adam Anders and ‘Rita Rocks’ creators Stan Zimmerman and James Berg will be writing and producing the ‘Maid In Miami’ project, which should be impacting TV sometime next year.
Christina Milian, the American actress and dancer, spotted leaving the Little Next Door restaurant in West Hollywood after having lunch with a friend. Christina, wearing casual jeans with a black jacket and baseball cap, refused to be drawn on rumours she is in talks to appear on the new season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
The singer, who offered no comment on the possibility of joining the reality show, climbed into her white jeep before driving away. . West Hollywood, California – 10.08.2011
Producers of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ are currently in talks with R&B songstress Christina Milian to join season 13 of the ABC hit reality show. The first episode is scheduled to premiere on September 19th. DWTS is fast becoming a base for struggling R&B stars determined to make a comeback to music.
Other R&B/pop divas to shake their butts for show include Nicole Scherzinger, Mel B, Brandy, Toni Braxton and Mya. Milian has been in the recording studio since forever recording her new album.
Ever since her Chipmunk faced ex-husband cheated and publicly humiliated her, the project has suffered a major setback. The plan was to release the serially delayed ‘Elope’ on a joint record deal betweenThe Dream’s Radio Killa Records (which was under Jimmy Iovine and the InterscopeUmbrella) and MySpace.
Before the joint deal came into play, the 29-year-old originally recorded a scrapped album on Myspace titled ‘Dream In Color’, which was geared more towards pop audiences. Then she re-recorded new music the moment she started to date Terius Nash.
He went on to produce the bulk of the LP which was geared more towards urban. They split up and four years after recording, this album still can’t come out. I’d say she better snag that DWTSslot while she can. This album is NOT coming out and will continue to accumulate hoardes of dust until she puts herself out there in some way.
It’s the birthday girl! Christina Milian and her daughter Violet, who turns 1 today, were pictured horsin’ around with a wooden rocking toy. What a sweet pair!
The mother-daughter duo started Violet’s birthday celebrations yesterday (February 25) in Los Angeles. The pair were all smiles as they enjoyed the Jayneoni Moore’s Celebrity Baby & Big Kid Pre-Oscar gifting suite.
The 29-year-old R&B singer recently opened up about the cheating scandal that ended her three-month marriage with The-Dream and how she is now relishing her life as a single mom.
No matter what, you can’t change who you are. I know that now. I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work. But ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working.” She went on to address the cheating scandal: “I didn’t know anything. But looking back, my gut was telling me something was off. But I thought I could fix it.”
Christina Milian has made waves in the entertainment industry with both her work and her personal life. The young singer and actress is still a hot item with both her music and her acting to support her, but recently much has been made of her relationship with rapper the Dream.
Christina Milian and the Dream began seeing each other in February, 2009, and while the Dream denied the rumors, the two were married in a Las Vegas ceremony in September of that year. In February of 2010, Christina gave birth to the couple’s daughter, Violet Madison Nash, but by that time that couple had already separated as secretly as they had come together. It was later revealed by the Dream that they broke up sometime in late 2009.
The messy part of the divorce came next, as Christina and the Dream worked out the terms of their divorce. One of the most contentious points of the settlement has been the Dream’s stake in the Justin Bieber hit “Baby.” According to the terms of the divorce, Christian owns 10% of the Dream’s stake in the hit song. Both Christina and the Dream worked on the song with other writers. In 2011, Christina took the Dream back to court to try and claim a larger percentage of his stake for child support and alimony.
Guess we’ll have to see how that plays out in court.
